- Semester I & II: Graphic Design, Photography, and Visual Editing (2 hours of practical training per week)
During the initial two semesters, students will engage in a comprehensive exploration of Graphic Design, Photography, and Visual Editing. Through 2 hours of practical training each week, they will develop hands-on skills in graphic design techniques, photography principles, and the art of visual editing. This foundation will serve as a crucial building block for their proficiency in visual communication.
- Semesters III & IV: Internship in an Accredited Media Hub Specialized in Advertisement or Journalism, Public Relations etc.
In the third and fourth semesters, students will transition from the classroom to real-world application through a structured internship program. This internship will take place in an accredited media hub, offering students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the professional environment of either advertisement or journalism. The hands-on experience gained during this internship will not only refine their practical skills but also provide valuable insights into the workings of the industry, enhancing their readiness for future career endeavours.
- The curriculum incorporates Project Centric Learning (PCL), featuring dedicated sessions to impart ideation and entrepreneurial skills within the media industry. This involves guiding students through the creation of business ideas, developing business models, and presenting them to industry experts and academicians. Discussion sessions will also be organized to refine students' work and enhance overall quality.
