First ESG Assurance University in India

JAIN University, Kochi, has gained national attention after successfully completing an independent audit conducted in accordance with the Kochi Global Sustainability Standards. We are also the first university in India to achieve such global recognition for its sustainability and ESG activities. The audit was conducted by the official sustainability partner, 'SIGN', in accordance with international standards. The inspection was conducted in accordance with the criteria. With this, JAIN University, Kochi, has also made history by becoming the first educational institution among more than 400 private universities in the country to comprehensively prepare and publish carbon emission reports for Scope 1, 2, and 3. As the first university in Kerala to take such an important step, this institution is becoming a model in sustainability activities.
