The Capacity Building Training Programme on Sustainable Product Development using Water Hyacinth

The Capacity Building Training Programme on Sustainable Product Development using Water Hyacinth for SC Fishers & Allied Workers was successfully held at JAIN University, Kochi, jointly organised by MPEDA–NETFISH, Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Govt. of India and Future Kerala Mission - JAIN University, Kochi.

The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. J. Letha, Pro-Vice Chancellor, JAIN University, emphasizing sustainable livelihood opportunities and community development. The gathering was enriched by the address of Dr. M K Rammohan, Director, MPEDA, and felicitations by Dr. Joice V Thomas, CEO, NETFISH. Starter kits were also distributed to participants as part of encouraging sustainable product innovation and skill-building initiatives. The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Smt. Sangeetha N R, State Coordinator, MPEDA–NETFISH.
