Esteemed Delegation from James Cook University, Australia

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Kochi, welcomed an esteemed delegation from James Cook University, Australia, for a strategic academic dialogue aimed at strengthening international collaboration and creating meaningful opportunities for students and faculty.

The delegation featured Prof. Ronald White, Dean of the College of Science & Engineering; Prof. Jamie Fellows from the College of Business, Law & Governance; Ms Bernadette Storr, Manager of International Partnerships; and Ms Shruti Srinivasan, Regional Manager for International Partnerships.

During the visit, both universities discussed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). They explored ideas such as student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research, joint academic programs, knowledge sharing, and global learning experiences.

With collaboration opportunities spanning Marine Science, Computer Science & Engineering, and Business & Commerce, the proposed partnership seeks to connect academic expertise, innovation, and international perspectives.

This visit was an important step in building stronger academic ties between India and Australia. It opens up new opportunities for global exposure and helps students and educators connect with the international academic community.
