As part of Deeksharambh 2026, students of B.Sc. Data Science & Analytics, M.Sc. Data Science & Analytics, and B.Sc. Computer Science participated in an insightful First Aid and Emergency Response session led by Dr. Athira Paramban, Senior Resident, Department of Community Medicine, Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences. The session introduced students to essential life-saving skills and practical approaches to handling medical emergencies with confidence and responsibility.

Through expert demonstrations and interactive guidance, participants learned important techniques such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), choking management, and first aid measures for snake bites, bleeding, burns, fractures, fainting, and other common emergencies. The hands-on learning experience helped students understand the importance of timely intervention and effective emergency response.

The session concluded successfully, leaving participants better prepared to respond during critical situations until professional medical assistance becomes available. More than a training programme, it reinforced the values of preparedness, quick thinking, and community responsibility, making it a valuable and impactful component of Deeksharambh 2026.
