The KERALAM NEXT – Economy, AI & Sustainable Growth Conclave, organized by Kerala IT & Professional Congress at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), focused on accelerating Kerala’s economic and technological transformation. Eminent economists, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators gathered to chart Kerala’s path toward technology-driven, sustainable growth.
The first panel discussion focused on “Current Economic Challenges, Economic Revival Strategy & Emerging Economic Models.” The session began with a thematic introduction by Dr. Jobin S. Kottaram, Chairman and CEO of Absolute IAS Academy. Moderated by economist and public policy commentator Mr. Emmanuel Thomas, the discussion examined fiscal challenges, strategies for economic revival, and adaptive economic models required for sustainable development. The panel featured Dr. Justin George, an economist and public policy analyst; Dr. Ann George, an economist and academician; and Mr. James Joseph, an inventor and entrepreneur behind Jackfruit 365.
The second panel, "Technology and Innovation: Driving Kerala’s Sustainable Growth and Opportunities," examined how digital transformation and artificial intelligence can energize inclusive economic development. With introductions by Mr. Jaison Jose Olickal and moderation by Mr. Bineesh Thomas, panelists Mr. Sunil Jose, Mr. Mathew M. Antony, Dr. Prince Joseph, and Mr. Jyothis Joseph advanced discussions on leveraging innovation ecosystems, directly supporting the conclave’s goal of technology-driven progress.
The conclave concluded with a valedictory session, welcomed by Mr. Jais John Vettiyar, General Secretary of the Kerala State IT & Professional Congress. Mr. M. P. Joseph, IAS, presented a summary of the key deliberations, followed by felicitations from Dr. Tom M. Joseph, Director – New Initiatives at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), and Mr. Apu John Joseph, State President of Kerala IT & Professional Congress. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Mathew Tharakan, State Coordinator of Kerala State IT & Professional Congress.
