Kochi: Jain Group of Institutions, a leading education conglomerate in India, has announced plans to establish a private university in Kerala. The declaration was made during the Invest Kerala Global Summit. The new institution will be named Jain Global University and will be set up based on the Private University Bill, which has been approved by the State Cabinet.
The university is proposed to be headquartered in Kozhikode, with an initial investment of Rs 350 crore. In addition, sub-campuses will be established in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Thrissur and Kannur.
