Kochi Witnessed Its First-Ever Anti-Drug Drone Show – A Spectacular Finale to ‘United Against Drugs’
Kochi: In a historic and visually stunning event, Kochi’s first-ever anti-drug drone show was successfully held on March 26 at the JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) campus in Infopark, Kochi, marking the grand finale of the 10-day-long awareness campaign, ‘United Against Drugs’.
The event, organized by Manorama Online in association with the ‘Empuraan’ team, JAIN University, and Joy Alukkas, featured an awe-inspiring display of 250 synchronized drones lighting up the night sky with powerful messages against drug abuse.
The evening turned into a star-studded celebration of purpose as director Prithviraj Sukumaran, producer Antony Perumbavoor, and superstar Mohanlal—popularly known for his iconic portrayal of Stephen Nedumpally and Khureshi Ab'raam—graced the occasion. Their presence amplified the campaign’s message and drew thousands in support of the cause.
The drone show, which began at 6 PM, captivated the audience with its breathtaking formations, transforming the sky into a canvas of awareness, hope, and unity.
